Is the spare tyre inspected as part of the MOT test?

  A spare tyre inspection is not included in an   MOT UK. Since the tyre is not actually connected at the time to the vehicle, it is not obliged to comply with regulatory standards. Is it possible to fail an MOT because of low tyre pressure? Despite the fact that tyre pressure isn't examined in an MOT, legislation passed in 2015 mandates that any vehicle with a malfunctioning or defective tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) will fail its MOT test. Check MOT status  of your vehicle and ensure you have the correct air pressure or have a faulty tyre pressure monitoring system repaired to avoid an MOT test failure. Is the battery checked during the MOT test? The battery must be safe and secure, with no symptoms of fluid leakage. An MOT tester will also inspect the state of your battery's connections, which should be tight and free of electrolyte leaks.
